Interesting to see different approaches to food, served in prisons across the world. Obviously, it varies and no generalization can be made from the selected countries, but most of the planet offers the possibility of buying fresh additional food at the premises and it can be also brought in by the visitors. Why we in the West do not allow such options when the food intake is not sufficient in quality nor in quantity?
